Why we love it

The Hardy Gallery at historic Anderson Dock has been a Door County art community staple since 1962. Housed in the old Anderson Warehouse in Ephraim, it is as beautiful outside as it is inside.

We love continuing the long-standing tradition of adding our names to the colorful exterior walls. If you find an empty spot, bring acrylic paint and leave your own little mark—following the posted painting guidelines, of course. The tradition began with sailors marking their ships’ names and arrival dates on the warehouse.

Inside, there is always a rotating exhibition of beautiful work, often by local artists. A perfect stop for history, art, and a little Door County tradition.
